WAVE, Working Against Violence for Everyone, a Petersburg, Alaska, non-profit holds art-by-the-inch fundraisers every two years.  The concept: artists create painting on 22 x 30 inch sheets of watercolor paper.​  Patrons select a portion of a painting they would like to purchase for $1.00 per square inch.  Last time I was aghast at what happened to my creation -- how it was (in my eyes) destroyed.  So this year I divided my sheet into four sections to create four separate paintings, three of which are shown below.  Once again it wasn't pretty.
